As part of the Here We Code initiative, we are excited to host our second Tech Career Fair on September 25th, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 pm at Dalhousie University in the Student Union Building. This fair is open to all post-secondary students pursuing computer science education in Nova Scotia!

Registration is now open for vendors. No fees attached! Please fill out this form if you want a booth at our fair.

Last year we had 1000 students in attendance. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to showcase your company to a wide variety of students.

  • The Canada Learning Code Halifax Chapter, part of the non-profit national organization Canada Learning Code supported by Upskill Canada and the Government of Canada, is working to create pathways for underrepresented communities in the tech sector by collaborating with community organizations within the HRM region to bring learning experiences to our community through workshops, code meetings and national program offerings. Our national offerings include a Google Cybersecurity Bootcamp Certificate program and Code to Career (C2C). C2C fully subsidizes Software Engineering boot camps to provide training to individuals in Canada who have been historically and currently underrepresented in the tech sector. Eligible participants can receive access to a full-time online boot camp that will provide the skills and network needed to advance their careers. The boot camp has a value of $16,000, but this program allows individuals access for only $250! (or even less if finances are a barrier).
